Well, it’s not a finished product by any means. But we do have a lot of the main pieces for the O-CHA one page website in place.
We’re pulling in the newly created O-CHA Twitter thanks to their API that actually allows you to display your own data in other place (ahm.. Facebook)
We’ve got the basic contact and hours information posted.
The logo.

Facebook
We really wanted to pull some information off of Facebook and put it on the O-CHA site. This turned out to be impossible. It’s disappointing stuff. Let my data go.

We’re back from a lunch meeting minus an Evan. We got a bunch done this morning, hopefully Jim and I can bring it home.
Programming Humor
Jimmy C: Want to learn to program?
Mad: Yeah
Jimmy C: Here, regular expressions is a good place to start
GoDaddy has curl and that’s going to allow us to pull in O-Cha’s Twitter feed. Yay!
Stop not working.

So you know, O-CHA is going to start recycling soon thanks to Evergreen Recycling.

Social Networking
This site is going to be super simple. We are using existing social networks to pull information into the site.
So, will have links to or info coming from
Twitter
Facebook
MySpace
BTW, O-CHA now has a Twitter account
A plus of the wonderful new O-Cha location is it is a corner spot with tons of windows and great views.
A negative tons of windows and great views is we get some glare on the laptops.
O-Cha 2.0
Today, we are working from O-Cha, trying redo there in a single day. Stay tuned and see what happens.

Our long national nightmare is over, the OC blog finally has comment previews. Let us all celebrate.
Evan just got the math problem wrong on our blog’s captcha.
A quick check of the OC stats shows that 58 folks have come to OrangeCoat from a Google search for “Donny Draper”. I was wondering what that was all about until I realized Don Draper of Mad Men fame must be driving the traffic.
Still, I’m glad people are finding my thoughts on cigars and learning about the original Don Draper.

New home page content
Recently, we’ve been working on BigLeapGPS’s new website (coming soon), trying to keep up with all the people and traffic on AthleteFocus, and preparing for Clemson football.
New Home Page Pic
Just sent an emailing asking if we can use this pic on the home page of OrangeCoat.com. I love it and hope he says yes.
PS: It’s football season.
PPS: I really like this picture too.
And we're back...
After spending time on things like vacation and client work we are going to be spending at least some of this Friday working on OrangeCoat again.
Hooray! OrangeCoat.

A couple of weeks ago we thought our share drive, hard drive failed. We run weekly backups, so it wasn’t terrible, terrible but we would have lost a couple days worth of work. Luckily, we were able to recover the hard drive and go about our merry way.
This scare put Jimmy C into action though. We now have second office server running Ubuntu backing up our share drive nightly. We are...

OC4 Stats
We spent some of lunch looking over stats from both Google Analytic and Adwords. What we pulled out of the meeting:
We are going to be designing more custom marketing boxes for services screens
Advertising for blog design is probably not the best use of money
