This should be a last Friday working on OC4! The launch is soonish.
We started OrangeCoat in 2004 with the simple goal of doing quality work everytime. We don’t do much outside advertising and we rarely make unsolicited sales calls. We let our work speak.
This philosophy has killed our profit margins a time or two and has kept us awake for more hours than we would like, but we are proud of the results and how our company has grown.
Do quality work with quality people. That’s our simple company goal.
And when I say “within the week” I mean within seven days.
Shhh…..we might launch both OC4 and AF2 within the week. Exciting times.
A partial snap shot of what got done and got assigned yesterday
I don’t understand why mama cooking a breakfast with no hog is a good day.
The other major new feature for AF2 is the ability for users to create events. This is a simple event system wherein users can post an event that says something like I’m riding “Paris Mountain this weekend” and post a time and bam! your event is created. People can comment and say they are attending the event or really anything they want.
A simple little system that offers just what most people need.
Everything gets comments. In 1.0 forum posts and blogs were the only two ways to talk. In 2.0 you can discuss everything. Pictures, videos, forums, and events. Not to mention writing comments on profile pages as well.
Example 1 of the flexibility of the site. The cornerstone of the design of the entire site changes depending on what sport you are focused on. It’s a bit scary to change this design so dramatically but using the site over the last couple of weeks I think it really works well and brings a lot to the table.
A little background on
Athlete Focus. We designed and developed version 1 of Athlete Focus about a year ago. It worked and people were signing up, the community was growing but we weren’t exactly happy with the flexibility we had. So we started on version 2. And flexible is the name of the day.
I am very pleased with how it is all going. I think its going to be BIG!!!!
